How long have you been in business?
The Candleberry Inn on Cape Cod has welcomed visitors for over 40 years. It has been owned and operated by the Fyfe Family since 2004.
What is your primary product or service?
Charming lodging with full breakfasts included. We offer small private functions, tea parties and weddings.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Charlotte and Stuart Fyfe, your innkeepers, enjoy sharing the beauty of Cape Cod with visitors from around the world.
Stu is a retired teacher and head football coach who enjoys taking visitors on sails aboard his wooden, gaff rigged sloop "Redwing". He is an accomplished cook and woodworker. Charlotte still works in health and human services and enjoys making guests welcome and comfortable during their stays with us. Baking and gardening are her specialties.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Candleberry is a unique lodging with all modern amenities and a warm, welcoming, laid-back vibe. We grow many of the herbs and vegetables featured in our breakfasts and have our own honey hives. We are located in the historic heart of Cape Cod, convenient to all the Cape has to offer, and just a short walk to the bay beaches. Yankee Magazine named us one of their Top Ten Historic Inns and we have been featured as "Best Of" in Cape Cod Life Magazine.

East on Route 6 (Mid Cape Highway) Take Exit 10 (Rte 124 Brewster/Harwich) At the end of the ramp, take a left onto Route 124 towards Brewster and follow for 4 miles. At the intersection of Rte 124 and Rte 6A (Main St), take a left. The Candleberry is located 2 doors down on the left side of the street. If you reach the Brewster Baptist Church, you've gone a bit too far.
