Bridge is the premier agency in the Greater Boston Area which provides services and support for runaways and homeless youth.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Bridge's founders were teachers in the late 1960's who recognized the growing crisis of vulnerable homeless youth living on the streets. They began to reach out to these youngsters and offer counseling and emergency services.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Bridge has over 40 years experience serving homeless youth and developed many of today's best-practice programs to serve them. Bridge offers a broad-ranged continuum of care, which includes street outreach, emergency health care, drop-in services, survival aid, education and career development, and residential services.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Headquarters downtown across from the Boston Common and a transitional residential complex in Brighton.
