WFCU was founded for Winthrop's municipal employees in 1963, but underwent a charter expansion in 1985 (to all of Winthrop) and in 2000 (to Chelsea, Revere and East Boston) and most recently, in 2005 (to include Boston's South End Neighborhood).
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
As a community development credit union, we are committed to offering the community a choice in where they conduct their banking. At WFCU you'll find better rates and outstanding service...that you just don't find at traditional 'big banks'

2 locations presently, but would love to expand with a physical presence into Revere, Chelsea and East Boston.
