We established ourselves as ORuiz Investments, LLC in 2016 and purchased the "We Buy Stressful Homes" website domain in 2017.
What is your primary product or service?
We buy houses that causes stress. We make reasonable cash offers (40-70% before market value) to Massachusetts homeowners looking to sell their house fast for cash.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I became interested after becoming a homeowner myself. I experienced the stress of homeownership, especially financially in paying my mortgage and maintaining the property. I felt that there must be someway I can help homeowners in similar or worse conditions.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I originally am a licensed marriage and family therapist out of Boston. I understand how stress can become so overwhelming plus the other emotional impact it can do to others.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Our main office is in Boston (Dorchester), however when someone wants to sell us their home, we will make an appointment to come visit the property at the homeowners conveinence.

If heading into Boston, take I-93. Regardless if conning from south or north, get off exit 15 to Columbia Road. Drive towards Columbia Road and take a left onto Dorchester Ave (at the first light you come to, there should be 2 gas stations right across from each other, that is the intersection of Columbia Road and Dorchester Ave). Drive straight until you reach 1452 Dorchester Ave. Must contact us first to make an appointment, as we may not be at the office since we are out on the road visiting homeowners.
