Since 2005
What is your primary product or service?
Portrait photography including beauty, corporate, editorial, fine art and headshot.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I was first inspired to pursue a professional career in photography through early experiences of wonder at the Boston's Museum of Science's awe-inspiring Omnimax Theater. As an undergrad, photography became an integral tool for documenting cultural aspects of my anthropological studies abroad. I later became a set technician in the professional film and television industries of Portland, OR, and Los Angeles, CA. That led to further studies, including the Master of Science in Photography Program at Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA. In 2005, I moved to Boston's Fort Point Neighborhood, became an active member of the local arts community and proceeded to shoot commercial and fine art photography for a wide range of businesses, corporations, private collectors, publications and universities.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
While an elevated degree of extensive, formal training and practice in the professional film, television and photography industries, as well as at the nation's most renowned institute for hands-on education in photography techniques helps differentiates my services in regard to technical proficiency, I consider my passion for the craft, unbridled creative energy, cross-discipline approach the arts and modest demeanor as significant factors for how my endeavor might stand out.
