Interview Q&A
How long have you been in business?
I've been in business under various names since 1991
What is your primary product or service?
All products stand equally and interdependently supporting each other is various forms for a "service" that not only assists the body in self repair and replenishment but also offers fitness programs that fall under body, mind and spirit separately and together.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
A love for spirituality, the need to survive in a rough area made fitness a major focus from the off. That expressed itself in music, art, martial arts, Qigong, Yoga and dance at a very very young age. I came from a family of educators, for the most part, so teaching seemed natural and the combination slowly took form with practice in martial arts, meditation, qigiong, weapons, running, dancing and play. That's what I bring to the game, Hard, Fun...Play.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
No oil massage seems to be a main focus right now. It seems to speak to a untapped demographic but, honestly, it's the ability to take eastern and western medicinal and also spiritual theories and combine and teach them in adaptive and most common forms recognizable to...well...everyone!
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Currently, I only have one though I do work "off location" quite a bit. Yes, I'm hoping to expand into NYC.
What type of payments do you accept?
check and cash only
Which areas do you service?
Worcester and greater Boston (Arlington/Cambridge )
Available for workshops and events internationally
What are your hours of operation?
8 - 8 pm
Overnight stays are available for critically and terminally ill
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
"Your Class Facilitated the remission of my cancer "
What is your favorite quote or Bible verse?
"Nothing is new under the Sun"
