How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Jean Gustafson started this business 30 years ago after succesfully working at a staffing agency in Providence, RI. She started 30 years ago and opened her office in Dedham, MA and has since moved her office to Norwood, MA. Back in 1999 her daughter joined the business and has been successfully running it since and since that time has introduced into Personnel People's placement abilities more of the manufacturing, driving side of the business but we are still specializing in our main part of the business which is office placements.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
People ask me this question all the time and I would say most agencies are about the same in regards to bill rates, timeframe to take an employee on. But where I feel we stand apart is in my office when you work with me you will always work with me. I don't make commissions in this company and what matters to me is when you give me an order I work very hard to place the type of individual that you are seeking. I reference check and personally meet every individual that is being sent to your office.
