What is your primary product or service?
All areas of family law:
1) From pre marital agreements, to separation, seeking orders from abuse, to divorce, to post divorce contempt and modification;
2) issues arising from non-marital relationships, intra state, intra US, and international kidnapping of children or refusals to return children to their habitual residence;
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
For Mr. Nissenbaum, he worked his way through law school as a secretary for a small firm, then joined that firm as a lawyer where he was assigned cases the other lawyers did not want. Back in 1967 and for several years no one wanted to handle divorce cases, but Mr. Nissenbaum found each case unique, interesting, and complex. After several years of slowing reducing his practice to various types of cases, Mr. Nissenbaum limited his practice to family law issues.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Nissenbaum Law Offices is a boutique law firm that limits its practice to family law cases that are usually high value or complex, or both, and often international.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One office in Boston. Opening other offices is not contemplated.
