How long have you been in business?
Chameleon Group was founded in February of 2002 by senior sales executives and operational professionals from the voice and data communications and software solutions industry, encompassing all critical areas of sales execution and operations, including software applications, hardware and related infrastructure products and associated services and maintenance sales.
What is your primary product or service?
Chameleon Group is a leading provider of outsourced business development and sales services delivering customizable business-to-business, channel, call center and direct sales solutions to global organizations of all types and sizes. Many organizations outsource all or part of these functions and the Chameleon Group can provide full time, part time or project based plans, including initial pilot programs, benchmarking services and blended compensation programs.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Dana Lariviere serves as Chameleon Group’s President and CEO. Mr. Lariviere is responsible for the day-to-day operation and growth of Chameleon Group. In 2004, Chameleon Group acquired the company Mr. Lariviere founded, Service Latitudes, LLC a leading outsourced service and maintenance sales company serving the technology industry. Mr. Lariviere has held senior executive sales and operational positions in the North America and EMEA markets in a career that has spanned more than 20 years. Mr. Lariviere has managed worldwide sales and sales operations for companies such as Aprisma Management Technologies, Digital Networks and Cabletron Systems. At Cabletron, Lariviere increased service sales from $4 million to more than $225 million. As the Director of Sales Operations for Cabletron in EMEA, Mr. Lariviere presided over the design, development and implementation of a two-tier distribution model that enabled Cabletron to further extend its reach into that marketplace. As Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Digital Networks Group, Lariviere was instrumental in the growth and development of Digital’s distribution and reseller operations across the globe. At Aprisma, Mr. Lariviere developed both domestic and international reseller channels, as well as nurturing key strategic major accounts.
This combination of international experience in both direct and indirect sales channels for hardware, software and services, as well as his demonstrated expertise in all facets of sales operations brings a distinct and unique advantage to our customers at Chameleon Group.
