(tm)" We work with ADP, PeopleSoft and Kronos systems and provide full life cycle services for both the project as well as the software. Depending on the clients needs we can run the entire project or just step in where needed... This includes functional, technical, analytical as well as managerial...
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
CGS was started by Garrett O'Brien after performing an implementation while temping for a biotech firm in 1990. The prject was supposed to last 5 months and was completed in three... Given he did not know anything about payroll never mind IT and computers at the time, everything was learned on the fly... Today the learning continues byt in a much more structured environment...
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We focus not only on the system(s) being implemented but on the whole HRIS environment -- it is not uncommon to find issues during an implementation that is being gummed up by faulty processes or a dirty database outside of the implemented system, Most consultantcies will not address issues like this as it is either outside the original work scope and/or outside their work skills... CGS steps up to the plate and will renegotiate the work scope and if additional resoucrces are needed the are sought with the client's blessing... Our last name is Services but it is our first aim...

currently ther is only one office - we are looking to expand not only with number of resources and locations but with our services as well...
